Counselling is a talking therapy which involves taking time to look at the issues which have brought you to seek help. This might include life events, feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking or patterns of behaviour, in fact, anything you feel you want to bring to the session for resolution. Through discussion and reflection, Graham will help you to identify the way forward to a more positive and fulfilling life.
Hypnotherapy is used sometimes as part of a wider therapeutic plan and sometimes stand alone to deal with issues of phobia, behaviour change (e.g. Stop Smoking) or stress. It is not a “dark art” and there is no “loss of control”. It is simply a method which seeks to bypass your critical thinking and work directly with your emotional thinking in order to create positive change.
Coaching, whether it be Life Coaching or Career Coaching, is designed to help you make the most of your potential. If you feel you are stuck or have lost direction for some reason, it might well be that an impartial view will help you identify the next steps and get you moving again. Using a variety of practical tools and techniques you will have the opportunity to take a fresh view of your options and Graham will help you decide upon the course which will lead you where you want to go.
