Psychotherapy, Counselling, Hypnotherapy & Mentoring

Tuesdays 1:30-5:30pm

Amanda is a qualified Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and Specialist Mentor.  She works with clients from a pluralistic perspective, meaning, that she is able to draw from many different tools and techniques that best suit the individual’s needs, there is no ‘one size fits all’.

Amanda has experience working with adults and post-16-year-olds who are seeking support for a range of different issues. This might be anxiety, stress, depression, panic attacks, bereavement and loss, relationships, ASD, ADHD, low self-esteem, confidence, self-harming, disordered eating and body image, personal development, trauma, abuse and feeling overwhelmed.

Amanda has a rich backdrop to her career and considers this to be hugely beneficial in her understanding and empathy towards her clients. Prior to working as a full-time therapist, her working life was very much rooted in the performing arts, education and Leadership and Management.  She has a Master of Arts in Professional Practice Dance Technique Pedagogy from Middlesex University.  Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling Practice. Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills and Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Amanda is passionate about helping you to enjoy your life to the full.  Time is spent focused on YOU and what you want to work through. She believes that with the right support, everyone can achieve good mental, physical and emotional health.

Amanda offers face-to-face psychotherapeutic counselling sessions on a Tuesday afternoon at Southcote.

The fee for each session is £60 and she can be contacted on 07837432968.

Amanda offers a free telephone initial consultation for any questions that you may have.
