8:45 am - 9:15 am
FREE CLASS: Vinyasa Yoga
Location: Energise Downstairs Gym
Each class begins with a slow warm up and stretch, working up to standing poses which reach a peak, before coming down to mat based poses. Flows are included to disperse stagnant energy and build strength. Class ends with relaxation and mindfulness.

9:30 am - 10am
FREE CLASS: Beginners Pilates
Location: Energise Downstairs Gym
This class is suitable for those that have never done Pilates before or those of you who like to work at a beginners level. It runs through the basics and fundamentals of Pilates and will strengthen your core, increase your flexibility and improve your posture and breathing efficiency.

9:30 am - 10 am
FREE CLASS: Yin Yoga
Location: Energise Upstairs Studio & Online
Poses are performed from cold and you very slowly and gently enter the pose using time and breathe to go deeper and deeper into the posture. Fascia (connective tissue) surrounding the muscles then has time to release and lengthen. A lot of the poses are floor based and use props that are supplied but you are welcome to bring your own.

FREE TALK: Healthy Habit Hacks - Motivation, Mindset and the Science Behind Sustainable Habit Formation.

We’re going to be going through the ‘What/How/Why’ formula of goal setting...
Raising awareness of What health goals you want to achieve and more importantly, working out your Why.
Taking action straight away by working out exactly How you can easily adjust your daily habits, using the science behind habit formation.
We want to not only get people ready for those inevitable new years resolutions but have a few small and easy habits they can start implementing from tomorrow, to build momentum and work towards more energy and enjoyment day to day!

FREE: Small Group Training
Location: Energise Downstairs Gym
You will be training for half an hour in a small group of 4 where you will be introduced to warm up, strength, balance and cardio work.

FREE CLASS: Qigong Movement Meditation
Location: Energise Upstairs Studio & Online
Shibashi Qigong is often referred to as ‘movement meditation' and is a lovely way to describe the style of Tai Chi Qigong we practice as we connect our breath to our movement.
Tai Chi Qigong calms, yet stimulates and revitalises; relaxes, yet re-balances and strengthens – it encompasses the yin and yang of all things.
A new way of working with your body, which calms the mind and the breath and which really can be the perfect tonic to this busy world in which we live.
When we listen to our body, we can create the space for it to heal - inside and out.
For all ages and all abilities – everyone is welcome!

FREE CLASS: Natural Movement
Location: Energise Upstairs Studio
Discover your bodies capabilities by moving in the ways it is designed to in a fun, relaxed small group setting.
This class is open to everyone, no matter the level of conditioning, offering an engaging way to develop all the physical qualities necessary to keep your health on track and have fun in the process.
Together we will explore the body with a heavy focus on body awareness. Sometimes the focus will be more on endurance, other times on balance, and sometimes we will work on body expression, heck, sometimes will even do animal movements! No two classes will ever be the same.
One of the major aims of this form of exercise is to incentivize people to learn more about their own bodies and be self-sufficient in taking care of their health. This is achieved through an open method for those that are not 100% happy with the traditional fitness approach, or those who just like letting loose and having a good time.

12 pm - 12:30 pm
FREE CLASS: Bone Strengthening Pilates
Location: Energise Upstairs Studio
This class focuses on weight bearing Pilates exercises using body weight and hand weights to bone load. Bone loading strengthens your bones and is good for everyone but especially if you suffer from Osteoporosis or want to prevent it. It is also a nice variation to practice Pilates exercises using weights adding resistance to increase the difficulty level. All exercises will be suitable for those with Osteoporosis. Modifications and progressions can be given out individually.

We have cancelled this free event. Patricia Ruzbarska has just welcomed her baby boy into the world four weeks earlier than expected, and is (understandably!) unable to make it. We are wishing her and the little one all the best.

FREE CLASS: LIIT (Low Intensity Interval Training)
Location: Energise Upstairs Studio & Online
This low impact class is ideal for all levels of fitness especially those returning to exercise or starting from new. All exercises are low impact so no jumping, running, bouncing etc. We will focus on control, multi-directional and functional movements. Structured around short intervals of work and recovery this aids progression, builds confidence and increases overall fitness. A perfect choice for all levels, ages and abilities.
