Flurina Dominique Thali (1993) was born and grew up in Hochdorf, Switzerland.
She studied dance in Denmark at the «Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School», in Arnhem NL at «ArtEZ Institute of the Arts» and in Berlin DE with «smash» (experimental and physical performance training), as well as «P.O.R.C.H.» (Ponderosa ongoing research collaboration happening).
The fascination for movement research, bodywork and improvisation led Flurina to a lot of somatic practices, like Ideokinese and the F.M. Alexander Technique. Amongst others she completed the 200-hour YTT «Scaravelli inspired Hatha Yoga» with Helen Noakes and «The Yoga Health Mandala» in India.
Flurina is a student of the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, UK.
In her classes the weight is put on the awareness and experience of each individual student; gravity is a keyword which helps us to work with our body, follow its own intelligence and let movement unfold rather than do it.
