From 5th November 2020, some of the Southcote services have had to close again.
But chiropractors, as registered healthcare professionals, are allowed to keep their clinics open.

Covid-19 Advice

As England now finds itself in 'lockdown' again, these are the rules as they apply to you.

Unfortunately, some of our practitioners have had to close their clinics.

You will have a call from reception to reschedule any appointments made with these practitioners.

Chiropractic is considered an essential service within healthcare and these clinics are, therefore, allowed to stay open.

We continue to offer a safe, secure and controlled clinic environment operating to the very highest standards. Having implemented much of this change back in May, we are fully confident and comfortable with the safety protocols we have in place to ensure we are able to protect staff, patients, clients and visitors to our clinics from the risks of COVID-19.

We spent the 'first lockdown' converting to a digital clinic management system and this enables us to manage risks even better:

24 hours before your appointment, you will be sent a Covid-19 risk assessment form, which will need to be filled out before your visit.

If you haven't been to Southcote since this was implemented, you will also be sent an intake form that will include some questions about your presenting condition and/or your current management.

We will also take your temperature as you enter the building to ensure you are not having a fever.

Our well-established system for video-consultations continues to be in use, which enables us to take a thorough case history, provide advice including exercises with instructional videos, and send these directly to you.

You may prefer to see your practitioner on there, in which case reception can arrange that for you - or you can book this yourself here.

In the past few months, we have been able to welcome back a large number of patients & clients for face-to-face consultations and we are confident the systems are well-established and have proven their worth.

We recommend you keep your appointments as scheduled in order to continue the progression of care of your condition.

If you have any questions about your ongoing treatment plan or would like to discuss the most effective way of accessing services during this next period of lockdown, please call reception and either the clinic assistants or your chiropractor will be happy to answer any questions and discuss the best options for you.
