Yoga & Pilates Instructor
Alison originally trained as a dancer and did Pilates and Yoga as part of her dance training.
She specialised in Dance Science and got passionate about the anatomy of the body and how movement can help to heal the body and prevent injuries.
She trained as a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist in 2007 at NLSSM and had this as her career alongside her professional dance work.
She now runs Inline Health Injury Clinic treating people with sports injuries, mainly runners.
Alison trained to be a Pilates teacher in 2009 and has been teaching ever since working with people of all abilities.
Her passion for Yoga really started when she went out to India in 2014 and did her 200hr teacher training out there with Himalaya Yoga Valley in Goa. She went on to do her 500hr in 2015 and goes back for further training in India regularly.
Her main aim is to create mindfulness through movement, motivate people to keep moving in a friendly laid back environment, increase peoples knowledge of their bodies and provide a range of class styles to suit everyone.
