Tara McKearney

Nutritionist Therapist

Tara's interest in nutrition stems from learning how to manage her own severe repetitive strain injury sustained after years of long hours sitting at a computer in her previous job in academia. By following an anti-inflammatory diet and taking good quality supplements, she was able to reduce her pain substantially.

After seeing the positive effects a change of diet could have on her health, Tara decided to pursue a career in nutrition. While studying for her nutrition qualification, she became interested in digestive issues. Again having worked and travelled in Asia and South America for most of her 20s, Tara was left with compromised digestion. Through nutritional changes, she was able to overcome the complaints she had experienced since returning to the UK. Being a distance runner Tara also noticed that her improved diet impacted on her race times and post-race recovery.

Since qualifying Tara has run a clinic in central London and Ramsgate and also works at a clinic on Harley Street specializing in M.E., Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.

Tara is well liked for her warm and friendly approach and looks forward to meeting you in Southcote.
