Jesper came to England from Denmark in 1985 with the intention to study to become a chiropractor and then return whence he came. However, meeting Charlotte took him on a different course and in 1991 they started a clinic in Maidstone together.

As a keen sportsman himself - running in particular - he always had a keen interest in treating athletes of any standard to get the most from their sport. So when an opportunity to work with elite sportsmen presented itself, Jesper decided to take up this pursuit full-time.

He now works with ProGolf Health to develop the ultimate multi-disciplinary team of sports physicians and a host of related professions dedicated to helping professional athletes in their pursuit towards excellence within their sports.

Jesper has taught qualified chiropractors for a number of years already and he intends to develop this further in the future. A wider programme being offered to more professions is in the pipeline.

In spite of being on the road for quite a few weeks a year - primarily following the European and US PGA Golf Tours - Jesper still has a close involvement in Southcote.

He runs a monthly clinic specialising in foot, gait and in-sole prescription. He also coordinates the in-house training and helps Charlotte make many of the executive decisions of running a busy clinic.

Jesper is also involved in a project of developing a state-of-the-art physical therapy department for a new local hospital. Central to the plan is the unique situation of having a broad mix of professions influencing the care of both in- and out-patient management programmes.

Jesper is married to Charlotte with whom he has two lovely daughters: Amanda and Mia.
