The first consultation with both a chiropractor and a sports massage practitioner typically last an hour and has as its specific aim to arrive at a management plan suitable for the presenting problem.
If further investigations are required to achieve this no treatment is given on this first visit.
You will be asked to either make a further appointment to allow for further examination time, referred to another practitioner in house or referred out. In case of the latter a, later appointment will be scheduled to incorporate test and/or examination results in the clinical decisions. Subsequent consultations are typically 15 minutes with a chiropractor and 30 minutes with a sports massage practitioner.
